By Monson Lake I spotted this Bald Eagle in the distance. As I approached it took off and joined a second eagle in another tree.

  

  

  

  

After a short conversation, both decided to try some soaring.

  

  

  

   
  

Meanwhile, the Northern Shrike just watched.
