Wabasha

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, all of the eagles were too far away for decent shots while I was at Red Wing. However, as you can see from these pictures, I was much more fortunate in Wabasha.

Several eagles were in trees immediately south of the Eagle Center. There were many people walking about -- even some cars driving by -- but they did not seem to be bothered by our presence. These pictures were taken with a 400mm lens at a distances of about 60 to 75 feet.
