Another extremely friendly bird was this American Robin; it kept exploring a small tree right at the close focus limit of my lens so I couldn't resist taking this shot. Keep in mind that the lens on my camera was a 400mm telephoto with a 1.4x converter; taking into account the 1.6x factor on the sensor of the Canon 20D, I was shooting this bird at 10 feet with the equivalent of a 900mm lens on a 35mm film camera.
