It was after 11 a.m. & I was near the end of my walk; time to head home. My last stop was for the Red-winged Blackbirds. They're always raucous and never boring. A few of the females have arrived so the males are louder and more aggressive then ever.
It is difficult to get good pictures of them with any detail since if you expose for the black at all, the other colors tend to wash out -- but full sunlight seems to help by creating reflections off the feathers.
