There was too much other stuff to do today so I had to satisfy myself with a little out-of-window picture taking in my back yard. (Yes, I know the saying: "If you are too busy to go birding, you are too busy.") Other than a Blue Jay, some Chickadees, Robins, and Geese flying overhead, this Downy Woodpecker was willing to pose for a little while. If the promised snow comes overnight, I suspect my feeders will be busy again.
